When website owners get into a mess that they just can't figure out, the most logical place to go for answers is online forums. One other place I've never found to be helpful until now is Google Webmaster Help, because things move so fast over there that your posts just end up being forgotten. Well TheDuck changed all that for me.
Trying to sort out website problems can be a very lonely and seemingly hopeless task, but every now and then, a total stranger seemingly pops out of nowhere and lends you an ear and more to help you out of whatever predicament you're in (website issue wise). TheDuck has been that to me this past two days. I've been very quiet here on my blog because I've struggling with a stubborn "tech" problem affecting my other sites that's even baffling my webhost. And it's been very calming to have helpful folks like TheDuck answer my "silly" questions and help put things in perspective. Checking his profile and all the helpful posts he's been dishing out at Google Webmaster Help, I am amazed at his genuine sincerity in helping others.
Why am I calling him TheDuck you ask? Well strangely, that's the name that he goes by in his blog - www.utheguru.com - but over as Google Webmaster Help he goes under the nick DocKarl.
So this post is a plug for an angel every webmaster needs. Take time to visit www.utheguru.com. And if you have a pressing problem, take it to Google Webmaster Help. You might just be fortunate enough to get a sympathetic ear and great tech help from a super guy call TheDuck (DocKarl).
