Does Money Make You Obnoxious?

I created this category for me to vent my hot-air about stuff that bug me. My first post in this category is about my run in with this guy last night.

Coming home from grocery shopping last night, this guy was parked in right front of my front gate. He was waiting for his friend who lived in the house directly in front of mine. He didn’t seem to notice that I was signalling for him to move. When he did notice, he reluctantly moved his huge SUV in front so I could drive in. After I drove in, I was surprised… he reversed his monster and parked right in front of my front gate again!!!

I called to him and politely asked him to repark. There was actually lots of other places he could park without obstructing anyone’s property. He didn’t want to do it, saying he would only be here for 20 minutes. I said that was too long and told him to repark, using my “don’t mess with me” voice. He responded with a loud sigh, grumbled and reparked.

I wondered to myself. What’s gotten into people these days? Does the fact that you have lots of money and you flaunt it by driving the biggest SUV around give you the right to impose on others?

Do the world a favor folks… as we learn how to make money at Home With Andrew and we travel the road to riches, lets not walk with our noses in the clouds and make obnoxious asses of ourselves.
