Delay In Withdrawal Of Paypal Funds

Just got an email notification from Paypal informing that there is a glitch in the processing of funds withdrawal :

Dear Andrew Shim,

Due to a technical issue we have experienced starting on January 20, 2008 we have been unable to successfully withdraw funds to your credit card. As we work through resolving this issue you may experience one of the following scenarios:

Pending status - if your withdrawal is 'pending' then we are still working to resolve the issue and complete your request. We are treating this issue with high priority and will update you as soon as it is resolved.
Completed status - if your withdrawal is 'completed' then we have processed your request and the funds will post to your credit card in 5 to 7 days
You should not see any delays on future withdrawals.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we appreciate your business.

Yours sincerely,

PayPal

Well this sucks. This is the first withdrawal to my new Public Bank debit card and it gets stuck in pending mode. And it's a fairly large amount too which I withdrew on February 1st. At least Paypal saw fit to inform us instead of letting us hang in mid air. Then again, I'm pretty sure they've been deluged with queries about the prolonged "Pending" status.

I mailed to paypal paypaljason@ebay.com . the reply was
" Thank you for providing me the specifics of your impacted transaction. PayPal is aware of the situation and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We have an internal report on accounts that are affected and I have added your information to the report so that your specific concern can be addressed as part of the resolution of the matter."

sorry to hear that Tarakesh. Nothing much we can do in these types of situations but just sit tight and wait. Glitches happen all the time. It's just like Russian roulette - you hope that it's not YOUR head (site) it's pointing to when the barrel goes off. Hope all things go well soon.
