I think what makes his wormy art stand out is his clever color matching. He chooses colors that are bright and complement each other. The worms add texture to the colors. Pretty simple. I really like the way he uses his technique to apply the colors to his outlines of Marilyn Monroe and his interviewer. I figure there are endless applications for his artistic technique.

Another thing I like about this is that you don't have to pay the worms a salary, they don't call in sick and they can't say they want to quit! Plus they're plentiful and environmentally friendly.

How's that for creative money making? The lesson here is to think out of the box. There are money making ideas everywhere you look. The trick is to look at things in a different perspective.

Later reports in the papers tell us that the price tag for the cameras were justified because each unit also came with a multimedia computer, printers and other peripherals. Which made me wonder ...

• Did the technical books also come with the machinery that printed them?
• Was the 2-ton car jack for 2-ton cars or was the weight of each jack 2 tons?
  Or maybe the jacks also came with second-hand cars attached to them!
• Did the screw drivers also come with self running robots to turn them?

There are times when I wonder... should I be slaving with my wife in my hot kitchen and slogging on my websites when I just need to scratch someone's back and have mine scratched in return? Maybe I can sell Popiah to the government at RM5 each. I could say they each come with decorative multi-colored, high-compressed, fiber-rich holders (otherwise known in the ordinary world as serviettes).

Anybody want to scratch my back?

Remember those Science experiments in school where you had to enclose small fruits and veggie in bottles and other containers in the hopes that as the fruit grew it would take the shape of the enclosure?

I remember producing mis-shapen limes and cucumbers, but here's a company that's taking it into an art-form... and potentially big money-making venture.

Iris Corporation Berhad's Capillary AgroTech has produce what looks like fine melons with the chinese character for luck naturally embossed on them. I've also seen apples in the market imprinted with various images and "lucky" characters (I assume by blocking sunlight on specific parts of the fruit).

Microsoft announced today its chairman Bill Gates will step down from his role as chief software architect, tabbing chief technical officer Ray Ozzie as his immediate successor. During a joint press conference that was at times emotional, Gates was particularly effusive in his praise for Ballmer, whom he called "the best CEO that I could imagine."
