Hi Andrew,

Great sharing and tips. Being Malaysians I think we need to be more wiser now. The government and politicians are busy with their own agenda. We need to solve our problems on our own. Agreed with you, divine help is a must at all times especially in this difficult time.

As for me I have shift my office close to home and daily I walk to office. And will buy a bike for my errants and also going to surau/masjid.

Hey Marcus... great to hear from you again! I was just about to get a second car when this fuel increase happened, so I asked about converting my Kancil to NGV. The tank would take up half the boot and the spare tyre would have to be placed upright. That would mean the whole boot is sacrificed. Not only that... since the Kancil has a small engine and the tank is heavy, it would be like always having an extra adult passenger in the car. So the bottom line is sorry... no go.

I think compared to the past, our quality of life HAS improved. My eyes are also open now. The problem with Malaysia is that the problems started so long ago and have taken root in the very culture of certain people. The lust for money and power in this group of people has caused us to be where we are. Now, the lack of money will see a further erosion of our society.

No, our country is quickly developing only on the surface. Our government is INTENT on walking backwards. It is up to us to look to God and go forward despite all that is happening around us.

Hey I guess we are all on the same boat with this. I was even considering installing an NGV system for my car which can save me tons of money but after doing some research I realize I can only get 170km on a full tank of Natural Gas. That will probably last me about 2 days and then I will have to refuel again. I guess a change of lifestyle is needed, sigh... isn't our quality of life suppose to improve as a country that is quickly developing?
